Hanna Janssen-Kallenberg (She/Her)
Clinical Psychologist
Master of Science (Psychology), Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg
Hanna’s work is defined by trauma-focused therapy approaches to PTSD and complex trauma (single/multiple traumatic events, childhood/attachment trauma) as well as other conditions with underlying emotional wounds such as anxiety disorders, depression, complicated grief, self-worth issues, and difficulties in relationships. This is because Hanna believes the key to lasting change is understanding and addressing the root causes of the difficulties her clients struggle with. Hanna’s extensive training gained in Australia and Germany has been applied in clinical settings treating complex cases in hospitals and other counselling services, private practices, and coaching employees in start-ups.

Hanna’s natural warmth and compassion creates a safe space for her clients to tap into their internal world and discover their own personal truth. She is deeply passionate about helping clients to find a holistic path that connects their inherent strengths and fosters lasting personal growth and healing. Hanna aims to be a steady support to clients through targeted trauma processing work, at a pace that is determined collaboratively.
In her free time, Hanna enjoys trying herself at creative pursuits (latest one is singing in a choir), she loves ocean swims, hiking up a mountain and camping in the vast Australian bush. When it comes to yoga, you could call her slightly obsessed and she will proudly demonstrate how she can twist herself into a bretzel.
